PODIUM RC ASTRO TURF CHALLENGE 2011
Well guys and gals it is here at long last all what you been waitng for ;
Podium RC Astroturf Challenge 2011 Frankley Model Car Club has teamed up with Podium Rc the Premier Hobby shop in the Midlands to bring you for the second time the Astroturf Challenge 13 & 14 August 2011 Entry Fee for this event will be £20 and every entrant will receive a free T Shirt for Entering This is hoped to be an Annual event and is specifically designed to bring the "Not so well Known drivers" into the spotlight allowing them to shine through and give them a piece of the Advertisement Spotlight The Format for the event will be Saturday 13TH August Will have 1 round of practice and 5 rounds of qualifying with hopefully Saturday evening having a Small get together and possibly a bit of track fun (subject to weather and conditions) of the Famous Frankley Super lap Sunday 14th August Sunday will have an additional 1 round of qualifying followed by 30 minutes Finals (subject to weather) and presentation of Trophies by Podium RC Trophies up for grabs are Top 10 Buggy Top 10 Truggy Top 5 Short Course Top 5 Juniors The golden handbag award A Raffle is being arranged from the Distributors to give you the chance to win some prizes and at the same time give a little back to the Charities who for this year will be R.O.H.B.T.S County Air Ambulance ON LINE BOOKING IN CAN BE FOUND HERE http://www.frankleymodelcarclub.co.u...odiumForm.html |
Entries are starting to come in for this event and will be a drivers listing updated sometime next week so keep those eyes peeled;
Let be having those entries in again for another great event for those who attended last year you all know how much track time you all got,great atmosphere,fanatstic socializing and a great 2 day meeting; Remember this is for the 2 chosen charities and be good to try and get the same or even beat the target we had last year of £700 split for the 2 charitys. |

We are sorry to inform everyone that this years Podium Rc Astro turf challenge has been cancelled due to a number of reasons . We would like to take this opportunity to thank Frankley Model Car club and the drivers who booked in for all there support. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
