Cactus Classic

If any of you are planning on going over to Arizona for the Cactus there are some amazingly cheap flights on at the moment.

£223 return from London.. its almost cheaper to go to than a weekend on the continent!

So who is planning on attending one of the best races of the year?

Lee Martin 10-01-2008 03:28 PM

ill be there........

Lee 10-01-2008 03:55 PM

Lets build a provisional list of UK drivers interested - may get more interested by doing it...

James 10-01-2008 05:40 PM

I'm interested 2009...

Danny McGee 10-01-2008 05:59 PM

Lee 10-01-2008 06:07 PM

yup and the clash 2008!!;)

DaveG28 10-01-2008 06:15 PM

I'm tempted too actually, as I may already be in AZ at the time.

I asked them about entry, its open, they didn't seem concerned about ROAR memmbership (although I imagine that might mean you need your own insurance), the only fly in the ointment was it appeared to be entry by post, and it booked up within 8 days of entries opening last year!!

Not sure how likely a letter arriving from the Uk would be by then!

P.S. how easy is it to get all your kit on a plane?

Lee 10-01-2008 06:21 PM

Dead easy Dave, i put all mine in a TM F8 bag and took my Tx on in the hand luggage, they never blinked an eye with me, rich put his in a suitcase and the had a peek inside but nothing major.

Mine was also 8kg over the 20kg limit coming home, the girl just said, happy christmas and let it go:D

telboy 10-01-2008 08:23 PM

How much are you looking at for an overall trip then?

rich_cree 10-01-2008 09:19 PM

i AM going!

Who wants to come with me?

Richard Lowe 10-01-2008 09:40 PM

Are you going to this years Rich?
