? on what 4wd 1/10th buggy to get

I have a zx5 sp at the moment and its about time for a change.
Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on what to get.
New or used whatever.

4wd choice

Its a really interesting question these days...

I still run losi xx4's, old school but still truly amazing, as far as new school the rango gets a lot of peoples vote at present with b44.1 closely following. The 44.1 benefits from a few different flex options on top decks lately depending what surfaces you drive on,which is nice.

There's some interesting developments coming soon with a new xfactory 4wd the x7 and judging by the x6 squared and the classic x5, its set to be a real stonker.

I must say that having been a schumacher fan all my life the Cat sx2 was a really nice car to build and set up as the precision enginering was breathtaking, real quality products so the new Cat may be worth a look.

As always I find a lot of personal taste comes into it, and 4wd is always that choice between the belt and shaft driven models...I love belts but some swear by shaftys.

The logical step (IMHO) would be to replace the ZX5-SP with an FS or FS2. You know how to build and maintain it, a lot of your spares will carry over and it doesn't feel a lot different to drive expect a bit easier and faster everywhere.

The logical step (IMHO) would be to replace the ZX5-SP with something what you can get spares easily when you are racing trackside. For examaple, i run a B44 and dont need to carry a abundance of spares as my track side model shop carries all the parts i need. And i have at least 3 other mates who run the same car, for which we can share spares and tips together (apart from Col).

On a personnel note i would go for a B44.1

i have had mine now for the last 3/4 months and i am unable to say anything bad about the car,
so easy to set-up, eay to maintain and all round an awsome car.

Its also a very cheap car i picked mine up just shy of £300.

Cheers for the ideas boys.
As you say Roger most of the spares that i have will fit the fs/2.
The sp is still a good car (A final regular) just fancied a change.
Mb models are selling the rango 410 for £299,i know there is the new one coming out but at that price i could be swayed?

Could not agree more at present, the B44.1 compared to all other current 4wd cars puts them all to shame in terms of spec, spares support and availability... and it dont go to bad either!
