Test day 19th June

Right the weather looks good for this weekend and we've done alot of track work, so its time to enjoy our new astroturf race surface
Its by no means 100% complete and we need to find out any areas that may need addressing and we'd like to invite some people for our first "test session". It is due to be part of our summer championship and if people are happy it will remain as this.

Booking in 9.30-10am and racing hopefully by 10.30-11am
If all goes well it'll be the usual 6min races with 4 rounds and 2 finals, more if people and time permitting:D

Please feel free to leave details on here /Pm or visit our forum and post details there.

cheers

dave

If i don't get my Kiddy national entry through ill be there.

JACKOR33 13-06-2011 09:05 PM

Late start

Jamie,

Yeah being late is a cardiff thing Jamie :p
We could start earlier however there will probably be some jobs to do / and bound to be people turning up late lol...........

Jamie.T 13-06-2011 09:09 PM

No worries, i was only messing, will be nice to lay-in for a change.

Balders 13-06-2011 11:45 PM

fingers crossed I'm trying to see if my free pass from last weekend is transferable to this weekend so hopefully I can pop over and check out the new surface!

:)

Myself and connor will be there

cjm_2008 14-06-2011 06:46 AM

I'm karting this weekend - which is slightly annoying (LOL) as I've been down to the park twice now with the dog & the track area looks amazing - I really want to get the TRF out and have a blast!

maybe next time :D

DCM 14-06-2011 06:48 AM

Well, we will be there every week!!

liam 18-06-2011 09:10 AM

I see on the website the track is off King George Drive but I cant see the track on google earth!

Is it 1st left and through the car park or something?

Ta

If this link works properly, there should be a green (B) showing the exact location of the track.

Weather

For anybody thats travelling down today:
Its cloudy but dry at the moment, and the weather reports all say cloudy til mid morning then brightening up to nice sunshine.

Jamie.T 19-06-2011 05:30 PM

Thanks to cobra for an awesome day today. New astro is a massive improvement and got better as the day went on with the sand clearing.

Also enjoyed the company and had a good laugh.

And Balders, I make it 1-1, we need a decider race next time. Lol

Balders 19-06-2011 06:36 PM

I should have never 'advised' on front link positioning then it would have been 2-0... :)

Top day lads I can see where all your hard work has gone. look forward to spending a few more Sundays down there over the summer!
