Kyosho Alpha / Thunder Tiger TS 4N 1/10 Nitro Car
 

Hi all,

Has anyone still got / using a kyosho alpha 1/10 nitro car?

Whats your opinions on it?
Common problems?

Also mine will rev up but not move the wheels what should i look at / check 1st??

I have one needing TLC i am not sure weather to keep it and spend alittle on it or buy a Thunder Tiger TS 4N which i quite like my friend has one....

It sounds very much as if the clutch is worn out on the Alpha,hence no drive power. I still have in use 2 Alpha 2's and an Alpha 3.

Right on inspection the big cog i think it's called spur gear that makes contact wth the clutch is all worn out it's worn down. The seach now begins..
