x2c too wide?

been running my x2c at regionals and having trouble getting the front end in the box, the car is all standard at the front so cant see why it wont fit properly. has anyone had this problem or know something i can do,

Just dremel a small amount of the front axles off but obviously leave enough to but the wheel nut on!

As said with the 2wd just dremel the axle flush with the nut, that cures the problem

4wd not as easy, you have to change to serrated wheel nuts then cut off as much of the axle as you possibly can, then although its still tight it does pass scrutineering

Fit the narrow alloy hexes and then it will definatly fit.

It's also the same with the 4wd front end.

thanks guys, did go in the box but needed squeezing in at the front, is the some non dished rims that would help aswell?

jasonrcb 12-06-2011 07:45 PM

The wheels will make no difference, the stub axles are to long

Look your steup too, if you have +2 open , -2 carrosage (en francais) it's too much for the box.
