Orca Q spark Vs SP LPF/ Hobbywing

Have not seen much talk of these on here as yet. I need to get another speedo and have seen these as part of a combo(7.5 motor).

How do they compare to the speed passion GT2 LPF?

Given its relatively small footprint i would stick in my losi 22, the speedpassion is a squeeze to get in when in mid motor.

Thanks:thumbsup:

I might give one a try aswell.
Does anyone know if it comes with a programmer?

Orca Q-Spark doesnt come with a program card as it just has a push button to change the profiles..........:)

The new q spark has some turbo settings, I don't think the LPF does? And it's pretty tiny.

We're looking to try one in our 22.

It doesn't come with a programmer but they are available for it.

as for power i say lpf is better then the qspark but the q spark is smaller and with a 7.5t u wont want turbo and as for turbo on lpf u need the lcd programmer to update it and then u will get about 60dec of turbo timing more then i think u get in the qspark

if it was me lpf/hobbywing or orca vtc pro (i run a orca pro in mid motor on a 22 and full size lipo also bit tight)

I run a Qspark in my 22. Got it to replace a novak gtb.
Its a much better fit for the mid motor config and i think its a better speedo.
Its dead easy to set up as its a 1 touch button and its done. I've not looked at the turbo option but will give it a bash.
But for the price and the fact it does over 5.5T its plenty good enough for a 2wd

Looking at the ORCA Q-Spark 6.5T motor/esc combo myself for my 22.

Couple of weeks since any posts in this thread, does anybody have any updates on these? Are they worth the money or will I need to upgrade the ESC in a short space of time?

Cheers

Ive heard that the Q spark ESC is a rebadged hobbywing, and seems to be good as ive seen how well AfroP's 22 went with it fitted............

Look for Gainsy in the Durango 210 threads, he's just fitted one and is plenty happy with it :)

iv been running the orca spark for a while, iv ran it with a 10.5 at the national touring car meetings, trust me it wasnt down on pace even at aldershot and cotswold, im now running it in my X2C with a 6.5 LRP X12 and still aint stressed, dont think its a re-badged hobbywing
It's a very good speedo, the mk1 orca pro programer works on it but not the mk2
