User 'Belsten' on here sells it in good sizes but he cant post it. Failing that, gets some basic boots nail polish remover (contains the stuff) in a purple bottle for about £2 a litre, does the job good enough. It's the vapours that kill the glue.

ACETONE

It might help to have the correct spelling. You used to be able to buy Acetone for a reputable chemist in half litre bottles (age restrictions may apply.). Alternatively metal fabricators use it for cleaning and 'pickling' steels they buy in bulk and may sell you a bit if you find one and take a suitable container.

If you dont have many wheels to do, just buy a couples of bottles of nail varnish remover (makes sure its has acetone in it). Then get a couple of baked beans team and fill each with one bottle, cut most of tyre off and a couple of wheels will fit in each can. Get a couple of dog/cat tin lids, leave for a few of days and job done. As long as the lids are kept on the acetone will last for ages. I prefer doing it this way, as the full strength acetone is harmful in the wrong hands.
