associated or tamiya?

hi guys after years of racing with associated cars i decided to go tamiya for this year.
i don't feel like the tamiya is the car for me.
now before everyone starts shouting lee martin is flying with his, believe me i'm no lee martin.

so the question is do i stick with the tamiyas or go back to associated?

if you vote try something else please leave a post what you think.

How have you got the car setup, it makes a big difference, and what makes you feel that the cars not right?

i just don't feel comfy with the car, it just feels a bit to neutral on the track.
and believe me i'v worked at the setup, but i think it's the fact that i'v been an associated driver for so long it's tough to change.

Have a word with him either on here or at Kidderminster. Explain what the car's doing, not doing and im sure he will be able to give you some pointers.

hi,i went to a 201 last summer after runing a b4 since 2004.have to say i never really got comfortable with it.car went well but just never seemed to get the pace out of it.have recently gone back to runing my b4(while i wait for c4.1) and driving it just seems so much more effortless.could be i have just become acustomed to the b4 and am having trouble adapting to other cars(c4.1 going to be intesting then:))

that's exactly how i feel, i just don't feel comfortable with the car.
it does go very well, but i just can't the car going at the pace my b4 could produce.
but i forgot to say it's not just the 2wd, i feel like the 4wd (511) is a bit to safe all round, i can't produce the pace of the associated.
