cleaning tyres

Got a lot of minispikes that have been on clay surfaces...

Is it ok to put them in the washing machine to clean them up? Some of them have rims attached.

Apologies if this is a silly question

Thanks

Just scrub them with a wet toothbrush, it works for mud.

You don't really want to soak the foam inserts if they are still on wheels. A bowl of water and a toothbrush might be a better option for those still mounted.

I usually run mine under the hot tap and clean with a nail brush then chuck them all in the airing cupboard for a few days :D

I once stripped my car and put it through the dishwasher and now all the metal parts aren't so shiney :(
