Settings on LRP TC Brushless

I am getting a new brushless system for this season. It is going to be the TC spec LRP but I can't afford two controllers so I will use one between both car s and get two motors 6.5L Novak for 2wd and a 5.5R for 4WD. My question is can I set the speedo up with the same settings for both cars or do people use different for 2wd and 4wd cheers.

Different really but its dead easy to change programs so not really a problem, just start with standard recommendations and change to see what suits you and the track .... just keep the A4 sheet with prog details you got with the speedo..

I would think you'd need more brake for a 4wd for the extra weight they have

I am but my motors are getting a bit worn and I think it is about time I got down with the kids. I think it was the speedo that didnt suite me last time so I am going to try something different. I need to concentrate on the setup of my car as well as I am a proper lazy bastard when it comes to setups as Carl will tell you and this will give me more time to concentrate on that side of racing. Thanks for the replies peeps.:D

Actually I use less brake on the 4wd, on the GTB I use 1 flash on 4wd (little or none) and 2 flashes in 2wd which is only a bit.

However that is with sintered motors which have more of a brushed motor drag brake.

I normally run my LRP / Nosram speedos on 2-2-0-0 with sintered and 2-2-3-3 for bonded rotors regardless of the car it's in. If it's slippy I turn the second 2 to a 1 .... if I am running on something grippy enough I might turn the 2nd 2 to a 3.

For total brakes I use the the ATV on the transmitter

For the 2wd I am generally starting with 70% on a sintered, 80% on a bonded ...... 4wd 10% more.

I'm not sure if that is the norm but it seems to work ok for me.
