my first tamiya 2wd car since 1992!

now all I've got to do is find time to race :woot:

I've also got a NIB 201 waiting to be built, for a mate who will occasionally tag along.

my last tamiya 2wd was a super astute, which I still have - albeit in bits...

Congratulations on a great chassis. Once you have found the right setup this car will handle very nice. Surely better than the Super Astute did!

oh no. I've got the patience of a four year old child when it comes to painting shells. most of my efforts have been slapdash single spraycan affairs :p

the previous owner (timee80) did the paintwork I think.

I get that impression - just from running it out in the back lane for a quick shakedown test, this car feels planted. I can't wait to see what it's like on a flowing grass track on a sunny day :)

On a flowing grass track, sunny day and the correct set up, you'll be very impressed with it. Awesome 2WD Buggy. This is the car that made me quit on road to go off roading. Since got a Trf502x 4Wd also as I'm having a blast.
Good luck with it,
Scotty....:woot:
