Mad Rat Diff Screw

I went to adjust the diff screw today having never touched it and when i looked at it there was no shape (phillips).

My question is how the hell can i adjust it or get it out to replace it.

hmm, not quite sure what you mean Dean, are you saying there isnt an actual screwdriver slot in the head of the screw to adjust?
Or are you looking at the nut end of the diff?

There isn't a screwdriver slot it is rounded in every sense of the word

umm well you could machine it out? or if you like post it to me and i will do it for you?

Does it require an Allen key rather than a screwdriver?

Checking the .pdf file on ansmann's site http://www3.ansmann.de/ftp/ar/manual...rat_manual.pdf page 10 it should be a phillips or cross headed screw. But perhaps one of those that you can use either on. Difficult to see on the .pdf file.

I would drill the head off and buy a replacement
