SC10 handling

Hi,after a 15 year spell out of the rc scene, i decided to buy a sc10, for bashing but just wondering how do you improve the handling on them ? any suggestions would be grateful:thumbsup:

What specifically are you trying to improve?

Don't forget they'll never handle like a buggy due to their size and having a higher C of G.

Just wondered if anyone put weights in them?

I've got a little lead in the nose of mine - but that's only because I have a 6.5 in it and it tends to try and wheelie down the straights

I run the lipo to the front and put a 75g brass plate behind the lipo, under the foam spacer.
I can't decide about weight at the front, it feels much better and more forgiving with nothing but the laptimes are faster with weight under the servo - it it much less consistent though.

What surface are you running on?

Yeah mainly short grass, and hardpack, just seems to roll over when u steer it into hard corner

Have you tried running a front Anti Roll Bar?
Stiffen the front springs a little?
What tyres are you running?

Tried slowing down for the corner?

How about a rear ARB to take some of the grip away from that end so you get a tad of oversteer and can slide it rather than having it dig in?

SCT's have a relatively high CofG so you have to make allowances. They won't handle like a buggy - being wallowy and more forgiving is part of the fun!
