Hi guys, can I have the length of the done bones from tip to tip? Do you think I can use the CVD from my TRF? Thanks in advance.

According to my precision measuring tool (tape measure from Poundland ) the fronts are 73mm, the rears are 84mm.

If you look in the Tamiya parts pictures, you can see the lengths of the CVD shafts stamped in the center of the driveshafts...

Hi Spoolio,

Are you measuring the total length of the Dogbone with the axle?

Hi 94eg!,

I think you've misunderstood me. I'll like to have the measurement of Durga's dogbog only without the wheel axle.
What you've atttached in the photo is the CVDs for TRF 501X.

My intention is whether to order another set of TRF CVDs with Durga if its usable.

Thanks. David

The CVD driveshafts from the 501x fit the Durga perfectly - I have them on my car.

Does this help?

Brat 02-01-2008 03:19 PM

Yes yes. This is perfect! Thanks Bender!

Hi, I see you've got the answer now but I was just measuring the dogbone only.

Cheers.

Hi Spoolio, first I will have to thank you. Yes please give the measurement in mm from tip to tip. I still need them.

Yep, posted it already, but the tip to tip measurement of the dog bone ONLY, is 73mm front and 84mm rear. If any other forum members have access to a vernier caliper to give an exact measurement that may help even more.

Incidentally, my Tamiya Hop Up CVD's arrived the other day and they are suitable for "DB01 / 501X" so I guess that officially means its OK to use 501X shafts on a Durga.

Brat 07-01-2008 03:00 AM

Thank you Spoolio for the info.
Anyway Bender had confirmed that DB-01 and 501X share the same CVDs.
