MOTO ARENA TUESDAY RACING

I've been reliably informed that the racing is on for this Tuesday (tonight) at the Moto Arena so for those that are looking to attend i'm sure it's business as usual.

Seems strange that they've decided to delete the whole Moto Arena section from Oople which is our only reliable source for information. Not sure what they think will be gained by alienating the paying customer but there you go, just another quirk from the Moto Arena management I assume

Hopefully see you all later for some more of the fun stuff

Who knows what goes through the mind of the corpret machine, cos I damm sure half the time the logic doesn't make any sense to the average Joe in the street:confused:

Alec, I did post in the Silverstone section that we're on, mate. I will try to give the racers as much notice as possible if we're not running.

I noticed that the MA section had disappeared as well Alec - strange.

I won't be down tonight, as I have an important date with a pint and the small matter of watching Reading FC batter Cardiff in the 2nd leg of their play-ff semi final (will probably be crying come 10pm!)

Cheers, Mark

I got asked to make the section by Moto Arena, I got asked to close the section by Moto Arena

I think they want people to discuss MA stuff in the respective club threads that actually run the event? So I assume all buggy racing is run by Silverstone RCMCC?

In my opinion it's a step back for the venue not to have discussion on here but they asked for it to disappear. If people really want it back then perhaps I can bring it back 'for the people' ?

Yep, I see your post mate, I wasn't having a go at Silverstone club at all, they do a grand job on a Tuesday running the event. I was merely pointing out that Moto Arena themselves are taking a step backwards in my opinion removing the discussion area on here for their venue.

exactly that, any racing at MA will be handled solely by the representing club, in this case SRCMCC:) it also helps to promote the clubs more.

MA have no problem with people discussing things on the section, but i cannot be around as much as id like to respond to questions.
Jimmy you can bring the section back for general discussion and keep me as a mod, its no problem.

also the new floor is almost up, you will see tonight:thumbsup:

Hole Digger 24-05-2011 09:58 AM

Is MA open for buggy racing tonight 24-05-2011?

Gonky 24-05-2011 10:18 AM

Not heard anything in the Silverstone club section suggesting otherwise so i'm still planning on heading to the Moto Arena this evening! :)
