All ya need to do is solder the fet wire on your servo to the posotive battery post on your speedo. :) Hope this helps

Don't forget to attach a Choke diode between the two.

the man is right pete
unless its been snipped of

Hi Guys,

As has been posted above, the later Matrix Evo speedos do not have the FET wire on them - you can connect straight to the +ve battery connection on the speedo if required, although you'll still need to add the FET Choke like you normally would.

I have the latest nosram amtrix evo 2007 edition and it has a fet wire i have to and they both have fet wires

Ashley - Trust me when i say that James knows what he's talking about when he talks about Nosram stuff - he has seem far more recent stuff than you have, i can assure you!!! Later 07 units from Nosram and LRP don't have the lead

ashleyb4 28-12-2007 11:36 PM

and what has that got to do with me???

Because you claimed the latest Nosram 2007 matrix evos have FET leads. When if you checked back on previous threads you'd see alot of peoples ESCs infact don't have the FET lead anymore, mine included.

Do as said above and your servo should work fine :)

gazbaz2 29-12-2007 12:26 PM

i must admit, mine is the 2007 model and it dose have the fet lead (the thin blue wire) dont no how latest it has to be.

PaulRotheram 29-12-2007 01:37 PM

The original batch of 2007's had FET leads, it seems over the past 4/5 months they have stopped coming with them, unsure why tho!!

You can also wire it direct into your switch so the servos not continuously under power, they dont seem to like being plugged in for long periods...
