Setting Up Brushless System
 
Anyone have any advice on setting the Brushless system (M Troniks Mardave) to use with a KO Universe???

Do I need to change throttle high points etc

When I switch the system on it bleeps, lights go out then after 5 secs go's into reverse!!

HELP!!

have you tried moving your neutral point forward?

Can't remember, but I think the KO requires the throttle switch reversed on the Tx, try that and recalibrate it. Depending on the firmware the speedo has it won't setup unless it's held in reverse to start with.

we all had no end of trouble with them best advice I can say is. . .

Bin it and get a proper 13.5 brushless system

Gazza leave these units alone you havent tried one in years so have no idea about the current software etc on them and how they drive lol.

Dez really has a knack with setting the mtronics brushless up. I have bever had any problems so cant advise on how to fix them..... soz lol.

but check Mtoniks or mardave site there was some instructions on how to set them up

hold in reverse
power up esc
then full throttle
then neutral
if it dont work servo reverse and try again
then if needed swap wire around on motor to get going in right direction

the instructions arent correct took me ages to sort out.....
or speak to paul @ mtroniks
but they are not the smoothest but there is a new motor out this week i think for them which apparently is better ......
