Depends what you mean by further I guess. I don't know what you already know but I would suggest selecting a moderately fast shutter speed and practice panning (move the camera to follow the car).
To freeze action one would normally choose a high shutter speed but that may freeze the wheel motion too.
The spinning wheels would need a high shutter speed to freeze them than the car I guess as they are moving faster so you may not need to pan but panning also adds the benefit of blurring the background.
