TLR Super Cup 2011 - 25/26 June 2011

TLR Super Cup 2011 in association with Spektrum and Electrix RC

Eden Park Raceway will be hosting the inaugural TLR Super Cup 2011 on 25-26 June at their famous multi-surface racetrack in Beckenham, Kent.
This will cater for the three most popular 1:10 off-road classes of 2WD and 4WD buggies, and 2WD Short Course Trucks.
Although the organisers aim to attract top drivers from the UK and Europe, it is hoped that the TLR Super Cup, in association with Spektrum and Electrix RC will appeal to local drivers as well.

The format sees a change to the norm with all three classes running on both days of the weekend.
Saturday will see two practices and three qualifiers, with a short practice, two qualifiers and multi-leg finals on the Sunday.
Qualifying will use the FTD format and there will be three legs for the A finals in 2WD, 4WD and Short Course Trucks with two legs for all the other finals. Awards will be presented to the winners of 2WD, 4WD and SCT, the top three in the U14 and U19 classes as well as in the Concourse Competition.

Entry fees are £15 per class with a limit of 160 in total, split 70 in 2WD, 70 in 4WD and 20 in SCT.
Tyres are open, but in SCT drivers will be limited to standard SCT wheels and tyres (no 1:8 tyres).
Booking in will be made through the Central Booking system (www.centralbooking.org) and every racer will receive a complimentary entry pack when they book in.
The bar will be open from midday, both days. Camping and overnight facilities will be available on Friday and Saturday nights for £5 per pitch per night and this should really help to make the event fun and family orientated.
The club hopes to have more details confirmed and an entry list will be available at centralbooking.org NOW, so keep an eye here on oople as well as Racer (http://www.rcracer.com/), EPR (http://www.edenparkraceway.com/) and other popular websites for more information as it is announced.

After a successful running of Round 2 of the UK Short Course Nationals 2011 yesterday, Sunday, thought it prudent to remind 2WD SCT drivers that they are catered for at this years TLR Super Cup event.

Check all the details and how to enter here and on our website: http://www.edenparkraceway.com/

Getting lots of enquiries so book now to avoid any possible disappointment!

Do we need to pre book Caravan space or can we just turn up?

Assume the camping is next to the track?

Campers and caravanners can just turn up as space during the summer is not an issue. We may choose to put the camper vans and caravans against the banking so you may get directed to a spot on arrival...

Cool. Might arrive Friday but will elt you know more as soon.

Assume there is a water tap nearby for shower stuff? Also, and I guess this might be a no, do you have any 'empty' points for brown waste? ;)

Two yes answers and one no Neil...

There is an outside tap but it seems to be have been turned off internally. That said, water is available from inside the clubhouse from the toilets or changing rooms

We hope to have access to the showers for the weekend.

But unfortunately, we cannot handle your smelly waste...

Dudders 17-05-2011 02:21 PM

Brown waste means shower water, not proper 'brown' stuff lmao!Drain nearby is fine as thats where is goes on campsite. Cant not shower for two days!!!!

As long as i can fill a role along with tap water somewhere we'll be sweet for two nights.

Looking forward to it. Got a nice bottle of Malt and a few bottles of Prosecco to share :D:D:D

Sorry - I was thinking you were being clever and I assumed you meant chemical toilet waste!

I am pretty sure we can find somewhere for your waste water.
