TRF501x Service and questions

Right, I haven't raced my buggy for about a year, I intend to get it all up and running to race this summer.

I have a few new parts to go on it (Fredricks Diff cover, and lipo tray) and the rear diff needs rebuilding.

At the moment I have the std 36t rear diff, and a 35t front oneway installed. (with a 35t diff also in the pitbox)

Is it worth doing the Big pulley conversion to have both 37t front and rear and 18t centre pulley or will it be fine just doing 36t front and rear (I dont really care about the overdrive and want to fit a diff back in the front).

also any other parts that might be worth upgrading.

Ta

Biggest reason to switch to big pulleys is that you can use the db01 reinforced drive belts. They are much, much better than standard ones. Lasts forever or at least longer than the pulleys.;)

Other than that, use hard hex ball studs (or similar)
Grey ball cups (or similar).
Replace the turnbuckles with blue titanium (or similar).
Use Ceramic diff balls.
Put a bit of sponge on top of diff screw to protect thrust bearing from dust.

Thanks Bud, do I need the belt tensioners to fit the new pulleys on?

I think I have some spare belt tensioners if your need them.
