London Maraton 2012 and racing

Am i right in saying that the weekend of the London Marathon we usually have a national? I cant remember exactly so thought i would ask if anyone has done it before and had to miss a national or big meeting etc.

Am thinking about doing it and need to apply fairly soon im thinking.

I did it in 2009, had to miss a 1/8th nat but 1/10th wise it was fine but who knows what the dates will be next year.

It was a great day, i would do it again if i had the time for the training!!!!

This year (2011) is the first in a while that our Nationals and the marathon have clashed. Ive been down with work for the past 2-3 years but missed this year because of Stotfold.
