The price below is for a DIY job I believe.

The install is not too hard at all. Just basic soldering skills needed. And it would be $40 shipped to Canada or any other international area. Pm me to buy a kit if you would like.
Anyone bought the kit?

Anyone in the UK that could offer the parts to do it so I don't need to buy from the USA?

The kit sounds a little expensive tbh.

What you need is a 5v to 110v inverter, a suitably sized electro-luminescent panel and a switch if you want to be able to switch it on and off.
I would not expect the whole lot to cost more than 10-12 quid.
I did my DX3S in amber but on second thoughts should have done it in blue as the lcd was pretty much unreadable without the light on.

The EL-Panels can be cut to size if you seal the edges with sellotape after cutting.

Be warned though as the panel and inverter will give off a high pitched hum which can be annoying. I found I didn't hear it when racing but it was a tad annoying when practising on my own.
