Finally we have completed the rebuild of my own hometrack. We added some jumps and build a new part to enlarge the track a bit. Will be raced all summer long by my and my friends Tamiyas :thumbsup:
Hope you like it!

thats fantastic, does the tree get in way of view? Should hold some meetings there. Nice one, top marks 10/10 :thumbsup:

muratti 20-04-2011 06:24 PM

Thanks Ray, the trees are in one row and you canīt see anything for about 0,3 seconds or so. Itīs no porblem and you have a lot of cool shadow in the summer.
There is a little apple tree which is way more dangerous...

If you build it, they will come....it's a dream of mine to do the same. Really nice track.

mattybucks 20-04-2011 06:29 PM

Looks awesome, when can we all come over for a race?

Carno 20-04-2011 06:51 PM

muratti 21-04-2011 09:12 AM

wow really nice! im looking to do the same thing around the corner from my house, working with the council on renting a location.

home track

That looks brilliant...roll out of bed and onto the track...:thumbsup:

muratti 15-06-2011 07:59 PM

Thanks for your kind words, guys. DavidAMS: it was quite easy to get the permission to build it, i am a farmer and this is only a very small part of my fields so it is no problem, i could have made it even larger but also maintenance is a lot of work so the track canīt be too big if you have to do most the work yourself.
Colinbevan: i have only 2 neighbours to that track, one is a farmer who likes it, the others ones are absolutely not interested in what is going on in front of their door so that means having some friends to race is no problem at all :thumbsup:

muratti's track ROCKS :drool::thumbsup:

It's like a being a child again when visiting. His meets are highlights of each year for me. :)

But it is clearly alot of work to maintain and his dedication is inspiring.
