Non moving Mini Inferno

I have a rather poorly Kyosho Mini Inferno (its my girlfiend's), and after a run in with a traffic cone and a replacement front suspension arm it doesn't want to move.

I have looked at the drive train and I am not sure if the issue is there. When the car is off the ground you can turn by hand all 4 wheels and everything seems to be turning smoothly. Plug the Lipo in and again off the ground everything spins nicely.

However place it on the ground on only the front wheels want to turn, then they give up and the motor is spinning but no traction.

I have thought that the chassis could be bent and the gears not meshing properly - any ideas?

Cheers, Mark

There is a third differential on this car, built in to the spur gear. It could be loose. Try running it as close to locked as it will allow.

I will take a look.

I did look over it today and checked to make sure everything was tight. Could a major impact bend the chassis?

Cheers, mark
