Savox servo trouble!!
 

After stripping my servo racing sunday i thought i would treat myself to a savox so went to local shop and he recomended this one sc-1257TG,
asked if i needed anything to go with it and he said just plug in and away ya go.
i got home cracked the tools got it in pluged her all up power on and the servo hunts from side to side and the throttle doesnt work!!
unplug it and speedo works fine!!

any ideas please people ????????

I had exactly the same thing with a bluebird one just take it straight back dont plug it back in you might fry your speedo mine was making my lrp fan spin really slow I think it was a short on the servo motor dont risk it get it exchanged

Thanks for that i had a read but im not sure it the same as he said about older esc but mine is a hpi flux system!!! back to the shop i go

This problem happens sistematically with the mamba speedos BEC, the Flux is actually a rebadged mamba ;).

Add a big (2000uF 6,3v or more and choose a 105°C version) capacitor at the output of your BEC; you can connect it into a free receiver slot.
