By using blue tac round the speedo and reciever and if your running brushless motors you can put it round the sensor wire and solder tabs. Then you can tape round your shell so it is as watertight as possible.lil ben

by placing electronic components in balloons, which you can then tighten with a knut/rubber band. It only takes a small whole to feed the cables through and you can tighten this whole with a rubber band.

I use a plastic shopping bag over the transmitter - looks horrific but better than a soggy transmitter I guess.

Did anybody say 'INDOOR off road races'? :D :D :D

i use a transmitter mit. much warmer than a plastic bag :p cotton wool helps keep stuff dry. i often put it around openings in the shell such as the arial hole etc. blue tack is good for the receiver plugs and l.e.d holes in the speedo [as llong as it isnt pushed too far in :D]

erm.. and a whole heap o'luck i guess.

anyone remember york regional? [huge hale stones or whatever flooding the track in minutes.]

Kiddy national 4wd was the wost fortunatly i wasnt racing then so im happy your best bet is blue tac and duck tape or is you want to be super protected get your car ready then fill the car with exspanding foam through the transponder hole and leave to exspand there for letting no water in. :p :)

That would be a right laugh filling your car with expanding foam lol. I think oswestry and kiddy nationals this year are pretty much tied at the top for wetness. Although my xx4 didnt get a drop of water in it but the moisture inside my shell shut down my speedo i think.
