Anybody know where you buy those little adhesive metal wire tidy things that folks use to tidy their radio wires?

Can't for the life of me find them on google.

Probably more likely to be a Maplins type product. Like you said before though, who knows what their proper name is!

surprisingly they are called cable tie bases!
