Clubs around Mansfield
 

Looking to see what clubs are around Mansfield (UK Mansfield, ty google ;))

This is what I have so far:

Chesterfield (CARS)
Robin Hood Raceway
Broxtowe
A1 racing, Grantham
Worksop (winter only?)

Are there any more? Not bothered on type of racing although prefer off road and within 20 miles.

There is a club actually in Mansfield, on Botany Avenue. We race on a Wednesday night, doors open 6. Racing wise, anything goes really....buggies (with ramps) mini's, short course, touring cars, micro's etc etc.......

Interesting :) I may be moving to Mansfield in 2 months so I'm on the lookout. Do you advertise anywhere? You didn't show up on google.

Hi mate, no advertising much as yet, it's a small but friendly club very close to Mansfield town centre.

Good luck with moving here.......most people tend to want to move out! hehe

Found the road on google maps. I'm guessing indoors in one of those buildings :)

Mansfield looks a nice place, can't understand people wanting to leave.

yeah it's in an industrial estate about 100 yards up that road, nice little club very relaxed atmosphere, it has amb timing etc.

only joking, Mansfield is OK, the best thing about it is that you only seem to be 10 mins from anything you need......loads of supermarkets, pubs, restaurants etc etc and near to the countryside as well. It is also VERY central to many RC venues!

Nice looking track just outside of Mansfield. Looks like it would be worth joining just for somewhere to practice regularly outdoors.

There is West Bridgford Model Club, south of Nottingham, a bit more than 20 miles though?

reckon west bridgeford is just about 20 miles away, only a mile or 2 in it.........so that's mansfield wednesday, west bridgeford friday, broxtowe saturday and regionals / nationals etc on sundays! what could be better than that?!?!?

oh and there is ardent on tues / friday and some sundays + practice anytime but they don't do off road as yet, but a permanent indoor off road track is on the cards

Not sure I could afford all that time off!

I'm hoping to do regional 2wd and sc at the 4wd rounds. Mansfield on a Wednesday night is looking a very good option. Need to find out when I'm moving. Should know more in the next few days.
