Surikarn edition Peak V2 Motors

Am I right in thinking these aren't as punchy as 'regular' blue Orion V2s?

I just can't get the same punchiness out of my touring Surikarn 12x1 that I get from my blue Orion (non touring) V2 12x2.

I've turned the endbell down from it's mega advance and dropped about three pinion teeth.

It'll be great for slippery conditions, but not so hot when a track is nice and grippy. Shall I resign it to the practice motors section of my box?

Once it's up to full chat, it's mind blowing.

Thanks.

Elliott.

Does it have a twisted comm?

Elliott Hopkins 05-12-2007 10:54 PM

It does. Why do you ask?

It's really designed for tc racing, i found that it was really sensitive to gearing when i ran one in my RDX.
Other than the arm the motor should be the same as the other v2's, you could try getting some of the hard springs from Orion or Peak.

Thanks for the advice Robfo.

I wasn't expecting the difference in performance to be that noticeable.

Elliott.
