what does the 'c' mean

hi all just wondering what does the 'c' mean e.g 35c or 50c. Also are the intellect li-po batterys from ebay any good.

regards tom

Supposedly the "C" rating is the discharge current the battery can handle in multiples of the batteries capacity. So, a 5000mAh/50C battery should be able to cope with a 250A discharge load.

The numbers are greatly exaggerated for marketing purposes though so I wouldn't worry too much about them. Your car is not going to come close to a quality cell's limits.

Intellect are a good quality brand.

Yes, I have one and it took literally over 2 months to arrive though.
