22 - Ride height

My 22 is all built up now!
but it seems to be really high up. I'm wondering if there is too much re-bound in the shocks? can anyone give me an idea of there ride height (Track ready)

Hey, Yes the car is ready to go. It just looks far too high.

you need to build the shocks with no rebound:thumbsup:

is there some sort of trick to build the shocks
i found it hard to match them perfectly with no rebound
kind of liked the old type of shocks
thanks

For 0% rebound pull shaft out fully before putting cap on, if you want 50% rebound push shaft in halfway then put cap on etc etc. ;)

doing it with the piston all the way out would be 100% rebound:thumbsup:

Yes with the shaft pushed right in. :woot:

coleman758 24-03-2011 01:01 PM

I had the shaft all way out. Topped it up with oil. Put the diaphragm on then tightened it up.

If i put the shaft half way in, then top up then screw the cap on that should give me 50% rebound?

if the shock is built with the piston all the way out that is 100% as when you push the piston in it will push itself out all the way,

if the shock is built with the piston all the way in that is 0% as when you push the piston in it will stay there,

i dont mind being corrected if im wrong

I'm with you on that too... I built mine with the shaft pushed all the way in to acheive as close to 0% rebound as I could!
