Most popular MiMh's for starter box.

Considering giving up buying pull starts at £14 a time & dealing with slipping one way bearings

I just wondered what cells for a starter box ?

Would 2x3000's suffice or better to go higher, ie 2x4300's ??

3000 mah is fine as long as they good batteries.

Orion make heavy duty twin pack Nimhs specifically for starter boxes.

IMHO dont waste your money on mimhs,God knows how much a specialised orion twin pack is!!..check out hobbyking or even ebay for a Turnigy 3 or 4 cell lipo,I have been running a 20c 3 cell for the last 8 months and with regular balance charging it has been faultless.
EDIT- Obviously presuming your charger has a lipo charge setting

Well in my opinion get yourself an NP7-12 YUASA BATTERY they last ages and dont need balance charging and are only £17 quid
