Brushless for Tamiya Durga

Just wondered if anyone could provide advice. Looking to upgrade to a brushless motor + ESC + LIPO. Like everyone want something that is smoking fast but economical as I prob wont race for a while.

I also have a slipper clutch and one way diff.

Thanks for the help.

try hobbycity.com - you have a range of good motors there - the turnigy v-spec come to mind but there are plenty others - plus turnigy ESC will get you there

obviously is you wanna spend money you can get a castle neu combo or better yet an LRP set-up but that's high budget racing kit

if you choose the hobbycity stuff wisely ie. do a litle research, then you will get more performance than you can handle for a fair price

motorwise you are looking 4600 to 7000 kv ... for a 2s lipo set-up

if you are using other batteries then do the maths (voltage by kv for nominal/unloaded rpm) and see how you go...

5500 kv on 2s lipo is a reasonably hot combo, above this and you are looking at straight line speed at the expense of runtime and prolly also thermal issues
