Hobbywing xerun 60a with 13.5 speed passion setup

Hi all, does anyone no a good setup to get the turbo runnig nice and sweet, I race on carpet and the size is roughly half the size of a 5 aside football pitch so needs to be quick for the straight,

Cheers Steve

Hi Dave, should I increase only one value at a time,

Like boost timing or should I increase other options at the same time,

As you can gather I am new to the turbo timing, I have put the latest 119 stock firmware on and put it to the recommeded settings but it does not seem as quick as the original settings what came when o first got it.

I understand that you don't whack every thing on full settings to make it go

fast, just don't know what settings to change and by how much.

Cheers Steve

Thanks for help

Approximate starting settings would be:

Boost - 40
Turbo - 20
BoostStart - 7000
TurboDelay - 0.2s
TurboRamp - 12deg/0.1s
BoostRamp - 400RPM/deg

Then just change the FDR depending on your track. For a big track (50m straight) you might be on about 6.5 to 7.0. A small carpet track would be more like 9.0.

The main thing with the latest firmware is to get the Boost+Turbo to total 60. Anything less and it will be a bit slow.

The other important thing with the SP motor is to make sure its on maximum endbell timing; any less and they're slow.
