oople race 2011

Just got confirmation, who else is going?

mole2k 15-03-2011 11:06 PM

I'm in :)

colmo 16-03-2011 12:49 AM

Me too. Now I just have to decide how I'm getting there and where I'll stay!

I can get 3 people into the nearest Travelodge for £122 (3 nights), just need 1 or 2 other people to share it with.

I may end up flying in - there's a race meeting in BADMCC the Sunday before, perhaps I could palm some gear off on the southern crew? I'll be travelling light, as I'm definitely running one class (2wd) only!

Are there any plans for the Paddy Wagon again? Maybe not for the bed, just the lift?

Getting to and fro from the Travelodge might be an issue.

Have the entries been announced?

ian h 16-03-2011 01:03 AM

Not sure as yet, I am flying in on the Thursday evening and back Sunday night. Not sure on the rest, depends how many and who is going.

Mine is confirmed and paid. I think us internationals get notified first to allow time for travel plans etc.

Thanks Will, I'm off tomorrow and Derek and Colin are following on Friday. Let the Games begin!!!!

colmo 27-07-2011 01:25 PM

Sorry, had to drop out, couldn't afford it. Rather disappointed that N.Ireland's contribution to the Oople is 0 (zero) drivers, but think it will be better next year.

mole2k 27-07-2011 02:20 PM

Goodluck to all the drivers heading over, very disappointed I couldn't get this year but I simply didn't have the funds with buying the house!

If I get an entry next year I'm definitely up for it!
