A future class?
Hot on the heels of SCT's comes these:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioE_EgfT-vQ Can see it taking off in America, Kyosho have got one already released and Losi have took it up... with SCT's getting a mixed reaction but a now growing following and 2011 being a tell tale decider for class popularity in the UK, I can see these getting a strictly marmite reaction... personally i think they are cool, love driving these on Dirt2 and the 1/1 scale versions are awesome  What are Oople members first impressions? |
 now they look like my kind of 2wd buggy
and looks like the price tag wil be around 160 rtr, bar the lipo and charger |
Can't really see the point. Its an SCT with a buggy shell on, but the closed wheel shell is the whole point of an SCT! As open wheelers, SCB's can't do the same sort of 'rubbing is racing' stuff the SCT's do and get away with it.
They do look good going round a track, but thats because they are designed for scale appearance first, and performance second. However that sort of thing goes straight out of the window when you are racing them - look at cab forward shells, TC shells that look like no known real car etc. The more competitive a class gets, the less realistic its cars get. So: Not as robust as SCT's Can't bang wheels like SCT's Won't stay looking so realistic. |
cant see the point myself n they look poo!
|
No no no its not right
|
They look more like the CORR buggies that actually race at full scale
|
Those shells look like they would sleep with their own sister, if they ever had a sister.....
F-ugly. |
not sure about their huge arse, they look like the thing Richard Hammond tried to cross the Channel in a couple of years back
|
Looks fun, though think it'll look nicer with a Tamiya Rough Rider-esque paint job.
