bbkRClive in the app store, (iphone etc)

Has anyone come across this in the app store, i just found it, but not sure how it works and if it does at all venues,

the app has no ratings yet. so was just wondering if you use it,

soz if it's been talked about before, i did a quick search, but nothing came up

I saw 1 person trial-ing this at the players this year and it looked to work fantastic. As far as iam aware you just connect to the venues wireless network if they have the timing enabled. (could be wrong) lol

I used it at the petit on my iPhone...mostly worked well...once you figure out how to get about in it!

Can't remember if I was connected to the wireless network, but seem to think not...pretty sure BBK was transmitting the results live over the Internet at that event, and I was just getting the info from my mobile data connection!

Very handy app at events using BBK software, hopefully they keep developing it too...could be even better in time!

Im pretty sure its through the internet, not Wifi. So the venue have to be submitting the data, for it to be transmitted.

Ive got it out of curiousity, not used it, but had a look. Can see live results from home - so its defo not Wifi.

BBK Rob will shed some light I hope. :)

It is only the meetings that are live on the net and not wifi.....

I tried it at the hereford meet and couldn't get it to link up to the live data. The only results I was getting were for a club somewhere else lol.

Tempted to bootcamp my mac just to get the live feature. Unless BBK want to make a mac version :D

Looking at it, it is just a browser which points to the internet server. Would be good if you could get the packets sent to netscreen on a web browser though via wifi, would be a lot easier.

It only works if the club is submitting their results live.
