Vega-Elite B4

Hi B4 Guys,

Just to let you know we are working on the Vega Elite B4 Conversion. Due to the popular demand of the two other conversions, we have decided to have a waiting list. If you would like one of the B4 conversions, please drop me an email at: [email protected]
Notifications will be sent out when they are ready, it will be on a first come first served basis.

Have a nice day

Hmm, Vega and X6 kits will be around £150...you know what they say about competition!

£180 once VAT is added against £155 for the X6.

I could be interested in the Vega, but what sort of setup support will there be?

Dudders 07-03-2011 05:28 PM

Had this debate with a few locals last weekend...

Is £35 difference X6/Vega or a Losi 22 (£190) Durango (new one £350 ish?) difference of £160 REALLY worth worrying about?

How much do you spend on race fees/hotels/food/petrol?. I'm sure it would run into £1000's min per year.

So why worry about a kit costing £35 or £160 difference???

I do find it strange

Darren Boyle 07-03-2011 05:59 PM

At the end of the day, people will just buy what they want, if a "price" differance affects them they will choose with budget in mind, however if they are the sort of racer where price is irrelavent then they will choose what they like the look of best. At the end of the day people like choice!!!

(BTW, The X6 Squared is between £145 and £150 in stores - not £155 and the X6 Sq EC entire car is £270) ;)

peetbee 07-03-2011 08:15 PM

Sorry Darren, I got the £155 price off DMS Racing's website (includes postage!) ;)

Well the money you save means you can buy a good looking shell for the X6 or 25 lucky dips on the lottery.:woot:

The support aspect is worth more to me and I'm not talking about spares, but setup advice, etc

chris.c 07-03-2011 08:28 PM

Hi

Can you confirm reciept of my e-mail too please?

Cheers
Chris Cox

LOL

I thought talk of ugly bodies was banned on these threads now :woot:

BTW, not everyone has them posted some buy from their local stores and collect in person ;)

One thing I do know is the vega seems to be fit and forget
As far as I know only the rear shock tower has failed in a massive shunt on someones
No chewed gears or failed Ali bits (bends etc)
Certainly no snapped chassis's etc
No upgrades required . Everything in the vega box you require! and to fit the new b4.1 also the old imperial b4 (different conversions)both vega.
I don't know about the x6 so can't comment

What I do know also is
I'd rather have a slim ugly one
Than a fat ugly one lol (joke)
Cheers:thumbsup:

peetbee 08-03-2011 12:15 AM

Sorry Darren, couldn't resist!:p

Rebel, I'm not querying the quality but I did say it wasn't about spares support and more about setups. Something that team drivers provide, have Vega got that aspect covered?

Rebelrc 08-03-2011 07:47 AM

Yes peetbee i am sure this is covered
Please remember I am not a representative of vega
Just a customer
Mrs team Xtreme is the one to talk to
Cheers

You probably could as a starting point put an x6 setup on it

Hi

There will be set-up support from either direct from us or one of our Team Drivers. Spares will also be available
You can contact us either by email/telephone or pm one of our drivers, I'm sure they will be happy to help. There will be a 'Vega' area on the website where you will find the drivers - so you can pick their brains trackside too :woot:

Hope this helps if there is anything else, please let me know.

Have a nice day!

peetbee 08-03-2011 09:29 AM

Will be watching the cars with interest, thanks.
