What are these 1 piece bodies?

dan_kitty 23-11-2007 02:26 PM

from the new bits thread you posted, photo pointing out the one piece shock cartridges, the shock bodies look different.

ta :)

Ok, my mistake its just the lighting in the photo making it look gold and by "cartridge" I thought it meant body. :p

The shock bodies are a different colour afaik? but I thought it was just the anodising or coating rather than a new design? not sure. The cartridges are different though - but I don't think those are out yet

I actually like the cartridge.. shame!

The shock bodies on my car are a gold colour.

They are prototypes to test the new coating, after this the 'new design' shocks which were seen at the worlds were given the same coating.

We tried both types of shocks at the Hot Rod Hobbies Race in August and it really came down to driver preference as to which shock type was used.

On 2wd the Japs used the new type shocks on the 4wd they ran the standard type.

The new type will be out soon....

Will the 'new type' replace the old or be released only as an option?
When will there be a 2WD to go with the shocks? :p
