Need help please :)

Right, I am running the B4, and at Ardent raceway this weekend I was struggling with the car through left handers, I have replaced all the obvious things, rear hubs, tunbuckles, T-plate underneath etc... And after a quick run outside to check if it had solved itself, Nope!

What i have discovered is when I back off the throttle or return to neutral, the rear left wheel seems to go tight, it's as though there is drag brake on the left wheel only.

I have checked all the obvious and everything seems as smooth as a babies buttox! Any idea's on anything i could have over looked? Anything at all because im sat here now just scratching my head :(

Cheers guys.

Don't intend this to sound obvious, are all the bearings running smooth at the rear end including in the diff?

The bearings are as smooth as anything and i haven't stripped the diff down but it feels pretty good no horrible grinding or stiff spots

What about shocks? If they're different left to right that could cause handling issues, and what about left to right ballance? The motor is biased to the left but I suppose its the same for all us B4 owners.

Other than that I'm stumped :bored:.

I have re-done the shocks tonight and I haven't got the tools to test left to right weight distribution, The thing that's puzzling me is you can actually hear the car tighten up when you let off the throttle. (well...the left wheel) but all feels free and smooth to move by hand

Hi mate, have you checked the bearings in your motor ,if there faulting
It could start locking the diff up and transfer to the left side of the diff
If u can see what I'm trying to say the diff will always take the easiest
Route or something like that

If you've got drag on only one wheel the issue will either be a colapsed bearing, missing/broken crush tube or possibly the CVA not pivoting freely. If you take the driveshaft out can the CVA joint pivot in all directions without binding?
