All mine have either masking tape or duct tape on them

want something heavy duty

will electrical tape do?

I use Parma-Clear coat 3-4 Layer's brushed on, Then Elec tape on the wearing spots on 1/10th. Clear coat-protects fine tbh the elc tape I use near the side's to stop rubbing. But some type of Clear Coat will be a good idea tbh. Save's some weight too-if your that fussy haha

1/8th- Same as above, but then use Heat Proof tape-near pipe and so on. Think a fair few people use a special tape Losi sell-Not tried it but, its meant to be fantastic for 1/8th cars..

Probably not as it is not really very sticky and you would need a lot to cover one shell

Aluminum tape, available from maplins, euro car pars. Cover the inside with that, you will also be able to see where it scratches and put a few extra layers of it.

I use nothing. I simply make sure that when the electrics are fitted nothing touches the shell!
