x5 spares

hey lads justed been on dms and alot of the x5 parts are discontinued does this mean they wont be available anymore

Jamie.T 23-02-2011 09:58 PM

I think you'll only struggle to find the x-factory only parts such as chassis and delrin made parts like gear cover e.t.c.

The rest of the car is made up of the XX4, and id imagine they will be around for some time. At least i hope so as id like to get my x-5 up and running in the near future.

Does the x5 squared use xx4 parts or xxx4g+ parts

Jamie.T 23-02-2011 10:21 PM

It uses the XX4 parts.

We have three statuses for parts: Active, Discontinued, and Obsolete.

Active = fits a current car, in active production.

Discontinued = out of production, but some stock remains. Get 'em while they are hot!

Obsolete = no more. Good bye.

I believe X Factory U.K. has just about every X - 5 part in stock except the main chassis. There simply are no more chassies, but they rarely broke, so not to worry.

Basically, to confirm what Chazz said, anything that is still listed on our website(s) is still in stock, if it has (Disc) or (Discontinued) next to it it just simply means there is no more in production, but stocks are still around. The time to worry is when it dissappears from the site altogether, that is when we have run out and it is Obsolete
