not that we know of dude, give it a blast, be interesting to see what you come up with.

Wow, we could have some competition at last !!! :woot:

There's loads of parts from the Kyosho parts bin that could be useful for the build. If you want to run a 3 gear box make it rear motored. Maybe just shorten the stock plastic chassis, new shorter wishbones ... and your almost there ....

Do it !!1

If you need any pointers don't be afraid to ask ....

How about a mini RB5 ali Vega, now that would be nice! :wub

t6 chassis?

cheers for feedback n support dudes!!

vega chassis yeah that looks nice but pricey though
but thinking of making an t6 alloy chassis with help of me mate whos got ascess to cad/cam machine
well early days yet, gonna check brca dimensions and rules,
then see what parts are compatible and costs involved
based on cheap n simple conversion

Max wheelbase is 190mm

Max width is 210mm

and 380 motor size

I'm not sure if there is a max wheel size but TC wheels are generally used as the tyre choice is the best. ie Schumacher rally blocks and mini pins ...

other than that pretty much anything goes ...

hexes

ok thats great,

the rb5 runs hexes all round so would these hexes accept touring car wheels or are they too small?
also would a rear mounted motor is allowed in the rules?is this making the car
to long to fit in the size ruling?

TC wheels are 12mm hex same as kyosho.

Rear motor is allowed.

There is no max length, only max width (210mm) and max wheel base which is 190mm.

I looked at an rb5 not so long back and if I had time and resources available I would be doing a mini rb5 myself

good man!!

ok thats good news then i is ticking all the right boxes,
so i think i could use outer parts and find some right length arms to match
rear same but could be tricky to source some d/shafts and correct bearing fitment,

so maybe keep motor at rear making thing simple:)

good luck with your build C H if u persue the idea that is:thumbsup:

WTS!!!
