Looks the business and goes like one as well........

Rebelrc 23-02-2011 07:51 AM

Cheers guys
Tony the car might go great but you've not seen my driving yet!
When I was 16 I was real quick .. Recently was alright ,but last year I nearly cut my thumb off , damaging the nerves so no throttle control now.(frustrating)
That's my excuse for the slowest vega at maritime . Lol
Tony are you going to do weights for these vega's?
I am not sure where to add mine yet. I suppose drive it first, or do you have any advise?
Cheers:)

Hi yah Scott
You will be fine.
Kevin Lee, John Spencer and myself have been testing different weights to see the differences. I personally like around 60g under te Lipo and some 80g under the speedo.
Kevin likes the car lighter than that but on the other hand he is a level higher so he can hadle it.
The car is also good running light but easier heavier.
I have the under Lipo with me but the under Speedo is still in design stage as we want to get it spot on and adjustable.
See you Sunday and of course if you need any help then come and see me.
As David Burton said one day, if your not going to win then you got to look goos trying!! - and you ride looks spot on! :)

Rebelrc 23-02-2011 08:37 AM

Do you have a under cells weight I could buy?

frobes2 23-02-2011 08:58 AM

That looks lovely it's nice to see somone showing pics of there Vega's too.

I'm still in two minds of getting one till i actually have good gander at one see how they go.
I know the guys are doing well Kev Lee, Tony etc but I'm just average Joe driver so be good to get feedback from my typeof level drivers & see how they go.

But most def it's one of two cars that's on the table for me ;)

Love the bodyshell bang on, i bet my Pink Pather will look lovely on this too

If it's that bad you might want to try a pistol radio. A pain in the butt, although could be better for your situation, and they are not that weird to use, after a while. Doesn't Lee Martin use an M11X?
