running brushless in wet conditions
I have just upgraded my Madrat to a brushless setup with a 7.5t speed passion sensored motor sitting at the the back. I got a plastic cover that clips over the motor with a small hole at the top for the sensor cable comes out.
Going to race on astro turf tomorrow which no doubt will be damp. can I run it as it is or do i need to cover the 3 wires and sensor cable? Is there any danger of damaging the motor if water gets on it? James |
Blue tack is your best friend in wet conditions, put some round the sensor lead where it enters the moto, also the speedo and receiver is worth doing.
