what upgrades are better?

well i am getting a DEX410R and i am wondering when its time for upgrading who makes better upgrade parts Tresrey or durango???

also what would you say are the most important upgrades to do on the DEX410R?

thanks.

Most important upgrades on the 410R would be replacing the hinge pin blocks for the aluminium ones from the 410 or the new ones from the short course.

The shock and driveshaft boots might be an idea as well along with the different o-rings for the diffs when you're building it. You might also want to cut off the outside hole on the front shock tower to stop it digging in so much when you land upside down.

Apart from that there isn't much you need to do to it.

Carefull with the upgrades though or you might end up wishing you had got the dex410 in the first place.

Alloy hingepin blocks #TD330004,#TD330006,#TD330008 and #TD330014 and maybe the tresrey or racers edge servo saver.

so generally the durango upgrade parts are better?????????

stegger 19-02-2011 09:46 PM

The durango upgrades for the R version are yes, the only other upgrade part that durango don't do is the alloy servo saver which TRESREY or RACERS EDGE do. Other than these parts the cars are very strong. The other parts that TRESREY do are more bling parts and are very nice

also the durango web site it says that if i get any of those parts you listed stegger i also need to order TDR330037 so do i have to order one of these for every part you listed or do i only need to buy like one or two?

There are 8 in a packet of those, so you should only need one pack.
