Anyone own a Fusion exceed? Parameter help needed

Hi Guys. I've got myself a fusion exceed 10.5 ESC, but need assistance on what to set some parameters to. Namely the " advanced timing " function and the " cut off voltage ".
I understand that a 2s Lipo should have a cutoff between 6-6.4V, but the manuals programming chart doesn't make loads of sense on these criteria. Do I use the (2) or (8) setting?
On my advanced timing function, I have the following options; 0' , 25' , /0 , and ~10.
What on Earth does this lot mean, and what should I set it to?
Many thanks for any feedback, in particular from those using this speed control.

Hi, I've got the same system and I'm a newbee so I haven't got a clue what to do at all with mine so any help would be great

I could do with using somebody's programming card if possible, as I find it a real pain navigating the system with the transmitters throttle movements.
If anybody would allow me to use theirs in their presence, or lend me one for a day i'd be happy to pay for the privilege.
It took me ages just to get the reverse function working. :-D
I'm in North Manchester, so would be willing to travel about 15 miles or so.

Looking at the instructions on the fusion website the flashes on the esc show the voltage the cut off is set to. The formula they give is (voltage - 2)x 2. So for a cut off voltage of 6 volts it is (6v - 2) * 2 = 8 flashes.

Auto mode for this would probably be recommend though which is just one flash.

Thanks for the kind offers Guys, it's much appreciated.
I managed to get hold of a second hand programmer for a tenner though so couldn't resist. Cheers.

HELP when im ultering everything with the throttle to make it work do i
1) pull the stick all the way back then all the way forward
2)from the natural resting place of the stick push it forward then let it go back to that postion ????

 cheers

all the way backwards and all the way forwards when programming parameters

hi guys, i've set everything up on here like it says and everytime i give it full power from a standing start it almost sounds like the gears are slipping over each other for a split second in the gear box is that a normal sound ??

Sounds like the diff is slipping. Tighten it up a little and losen the slipper a little and it should be fine. Test to see if the diff is tight enough by holding one wheel and the spur gear and rotating the other wheel. If everything is set right you should see the nut on the end if the slipper shaft spin. If it doesn't losen the slipper some more. You want the slipper set so that is slips for about 1 meter from a standing start.

Well impressed with my setup now. I've left advanced timing on 10, moved up a couple more teeth, and I reckon i'm hitting between 45-50 mph. Certainly slightly faster than my vxl setup on 2s. Motor temp' hasn't gone over 120F and esc is cooler.
Rear tires are completely worn now though, so it's immobilized until new arrive. Also unable to fit any larger pinion as the motor wont move any further back.
I'm VERY happy that I didn't order an ezRun and paid a tiny bit extra for this combo.:thumbsup:

holy mother of god my little rat shifts im gob smacked :woot: only thing is controlling the thing, 2wd is tough but how the hell do you guys do it with 6.5T motors  10.5T is more than a handfull, thanks for all the help guys
