Need BRCA fast!
 

Going to have a rant i'm afraid....:thumbdown:

Emailed and used the contact through BRCA website twice now and got bugger all response after a fortnight. NEED BRCA now proper fast and their website has no number to call them or anything.

Frankly I'd call them and pay by credit card to speed things up now but seems there's no option for that.

The whole sham of 'contact us and then we'll send you back details, so you can then come back online and log in' seems a bit ruddy long-winded too.

Why can't I just create an account online, purchase membership online, pay and get my membership number and then get card in the post. Fast and simple.

Does anyone know how I can sort this out super fast?

Yep..post form directly to jackie...she is the membership secretary...so every membership ultimately gets sorted by her. Use the Collumpton address from the link in mikey's post if you do post your application. Maybe a friendly email her to let her know you'd like it quickly and that the form and payment is on it's way and I'm sure she will be as quick as she can about it!

She's very friendly and helpful but has nothing to do with the way the website works as far as I know.

I used snail mail and it worked back in Nov 2011 :thumbsup:

But I did end up with three licenses for 2011, two via snail mail and one via the club I joined :woot:

Send it via snail mail as I believe the BRCA site still has a few bugs!

sent mine last Friday and it came back on Wednesday I think :thumbsup:

Who made that site? I hope the BRCA didnt pay for it, its pretty shocking

I tried to register and gave up and sent mine in the post!

just as another side to the coin, my membership came through really quickly via the web site! and I even managed to get my old number back from about 10 years ago ;-)

Please spare a thought for jacquie who does a sterling voluntary job in processing over 20 000 applications each year which generally take 1 week to turnround. You do the maths and work out how many forms that is processed each week (And please do not assume that each application is perfect, I am lead to believe there is frequently problems with the cheques supplied which adds to the administration burden and cost ! )

BRCA membership has been available since mid october - if you are not sure what your local club is doing then you can join direct to guarantee getting your card asap as clubs operate different systems for processing the applications.

I posted mine, was back within 5 days :)

Or see if you can join via the place you are racing at on the sunday pay them you should then be covered

Tryed to do mine online gave up posted it got it back within a week :)

Just been sorting a new not renewal membership out for my son, and I must admit I'm not in love with the new site:blush:, that said I'm no computer lover eather, so others may make more sence of it.

On the new site the "Join the BRCA form" opened as a renewal form, so I went to the old site, entred the join part and opened the new member form, printed that out and will send off with a cheque, job's a good'n

Now a few years back once the membership secretary had recived your form, most brca meetings would be happy for you to race if you were just waiting for your card and Number
