i have just been over to a friend of mine who writes lap timeing programs for slot car racing, now I have used his programs before to run slot car meetings, and they are great, nice and simple to use.

His is making a system for us so we can still do laps racing over as many laps as we want, It will give us the placeings, finishing times and all lap times on a print out, it will still be push button, but not on the laptop, the lap counting will be done using a small number pad outside the containor, connected to the laptop inside....I know it's not AMB...but it's better than what we have now, and the lap times will be great, oh and it will have start tones to:thumbsup:

Oh,,and it's real cheep:blush:

But we should now have propper meeting results at the end of the day so JCB can stick them up on the site:thumbsup:

Sounds very good. Just what the club needs :thumbsup:
